In the body, glucosamine helps synthesis of glycoproteins, glycolipids and glycosaminoglycans. These are found in tendons, ligaments, cartilage, synovial fluid, mucous membranes, structures in the eye, blood vessels and heart valves.
Chondroitin is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan in the body. Chondroitin in this blend is derived from fish.
